![]() It's a very good solo class, since the toughest encounters are fairly trivial with monk: Heres a video (not mine) of a monk doing the ultimate challenge. If ever you find yourself spamming torments reach non stop, and still are gaining wounds unspent, then its time to boost deflection. Its important to check combat logs to make sure your deflection is in a good spot, what i mean by that is, you want your deflection to be low enough that enemies always hit you so you gain wounds faster and can spam torments reach non stop, however you want your deflection to be high enough that enemies cannot roll crits consistently, only hits and grazes, so you dont actually die in a fight. For the first portion of the game, use fists, later on swap to an highly upgraded weapons of your choice for dual wielding, reason is that the enchant +acc bonus scales with the cone part of torments reach. This is one of the few classes that can fight solo potd immediately, you can even easily solo the bear cave at level 3 as long as you eat some food. Its the only skill that you will ever spam for 99% of the time, and it kills absolutely everything. Play style wise, you get hit, get wounds, spam torments reach, thats it. The build is very simply, max out fortitude so you dont get disabled, take body control, bears fortitude etc. If playing in a party i guess, it doesn't matter and you can pick whatever. I personally dont like using godlikes like so I picked a coastal aumaua, reason is I like using picking company captains hat to get immunity to confuse/dominate. I've never played monks in a party, but ill give you the solo potd build,ĭump int, res, max might/cons/per, rest in dex.
